Job Description

Job Title: Pipeline Engineer

Location: Canonsburg, PA (Hybrid: Three times a week)

Rate: $40 – $60/hr (W2)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Contract Type: W2 (Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

• 5–10 years of relevant pipeline engineering experience

• Familiarity with PHMSA regulations and compliance standards

• Strong understanding of pipeline integrity, design, and development processes

• Proficiency in engineering design, feasibility analysis, and regulatory compliance

• PowerBI experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering tasks on pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with PHMSA and industry standards

• Provide pipeline integrity support to capital projects in development phases

• Implement structured asset integration processes into operational systems

• Design materials, structures, and systems with attention to practicality, safety, regulation, and cost

• Conduct feasibility studies and assess resource requirements (labor and materials)

• Establish standards for operating and development activities

• Validate and analyze engineering approaches suggested by junior staff

• Make decisions using established guidelines, policies, and procedures

• Tackle complex assignments with innovative approaches and resolve unusual technical challenges
