**Job Title: Packaging Associate** **Job Description** As a Packaging Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet specifications for appearance, weight, and packaging. You will operate and assist with various equipment, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining quality and safety procedures. **Responsibilities** + Verify that de-molded products meet all specifications including appearance, weight, and packaging. + Operate or assist with wrapping machines, grinding equipment, and bagging equipment. + Complete tasks efficiently while ensuring adherence to quality and safety procedures. + Return excess materials from work orders to the designated warehouse area. + Ensure unwrapped chocolate is shrink-wrapped or covered on the rack. + Monitor equipment for good working order and report issues to management or maintenance. + Refrain from repairing equipment without authorization. + Consistently meet Quality Assurance, Sanitation, and Safety standards. + Responsible for sanitation and clean-up at the beginning, during, and end of the shift. + Verify and clearly label all products. + Communicate and implement company policies and procedures. + Make recommendations to management regarding improvements in efficiencies, packaging, quality, workflow, etc. + Communicate effectively with others. + Provide support to leads and team members in other departments as requested. **Essential Skills** + Experience in Food Production + Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment + Packaging and labeling skills + General labor and production skills + Familiarity with the food industry, especially chocolate manufacturing **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing + Strong communication skills **Why Work Here** This role is crucial and carries significant responsibility, offering you the chance to make meaningful contributions and impact within the company. **Work Environment** You will work in a production environment, closely collaborating with other production workers.
