Mechanic Technician B - (II) Transdev inPerris, Californiais seeking an experienced B-Level Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintainingfleetvehicles and equipment. As a Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Key Responsibilities: + Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshootfleetvehicleissues. + Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on engine components, ensuring optimal functionality. + Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow. + Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance. + Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines. + Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair taskson engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components to required specifications. + Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge + Other duties as required. Qualifications: ·1year of experience as a Mechanicworking in a shop environment. ·ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided ·Mechanic's Tool Set ·Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements: + Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. + The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. + Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
