HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Contract requires US Citizenship.

CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO THE ASHBURN, VA OFFICE

Job Responsibilities:

GDIT is seeking Software Developer to join our team.

• 5+ years of Java development experience, Java 8 and higher
• Experience developing against relational databases and solid SQL querying skills
• 5+ years’ experience of programming frameworks like Spring or Angular
• 5+ years’ experience with web services development – SOAP/REST
• 5+ years’ experience of UI development
• Experience writing automated unit tests
• Knowledge/experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git and AWS
• Experience working on an Agile Team

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
● Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Java development experience, Java 8 and higher, Spring or Angular, SOAP/Rest

Security Clearance Level: CBP Public Trust Suitability
● Required Skills and Abilities:
● Location: Hybrid
●US Citizenship Required

Ability to obtain a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Public Trust Suitability (takes 4-6 weeks)
