Position Title: IT Business Analyst
Employee Status: Direct Hire with Client
Location: Omaha NE
Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to act as a crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the successful development and implementation of software solutions. This involves a focus on analysis, documentation, and collaboration. You will be responsible for translating business needs into detailed technical requirements, creating and maintaining essential project documentation, and facilitating communication across various teams to ensure that new and revised processes and software solutions are delivered effectively and meet the company's goals. Your efforts will directly support the product's life cycle and contribute to maintaining strong relationships with business partners.
Responsibilities:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2+ years related work experience.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
Knowledge of software development practices and procedures
Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally
Work Requirements, Experience, Education, and Skills:
Someone with experience with business analysis or project management
Someone with familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration
Someone with strong interpersonal skills including conflict resolution skills
Someone with insurance industry and product knowledge
