We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Department (ED) care to join a leading healthcare facility in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while upholding clinical excellence and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and determine priorities for care.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and hospital policy.
Maintain precise and timely documentation of all nursing interventions and patient responses.
Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and clinical best practices.
Respond effectively to emergencies and life-threatening situations.
Provide emotional support and communication to patients and families during crises.
Uphold patient confidentiality and professional nursing ethics at all times.
Participate in continuing education, skill development, and performance improvement initiatives.
Exhibit professionalism through accountability, teamwork, and dependability.
Contribute to departmental quality improvement and promote evidence-based emergency care.
Experience: Minimum of 2 recent years of Emergency Department (ER/ED) nursing experience (required).
Licensure: Active Ohio RN License or Compact License (required).
Certifications:
BLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA)
PALS – American Heart Association (AHA)
