Position Details:
- Job Title: Butcher
- Location: Sasta Bazar – Milwaukee, WI
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: 6 Days a Week (Weekends Required)
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare beef, goat, lamb, and poultry (including whole animal processing)
- Fulfill custom cutting orders for retail and wholesale customers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cutting area and equipment
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat inventory
- Sharpen and maintain knives and tools
- Communicate with front-end team and report low-stock or customer requests
Requirements:
- Experience in a butcher/meat cutter role (halal cutting experience preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long hours
- Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and meat handling standards
- Comfortable using band saws and knives
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking
- Speaks English; Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi a plus
