Responsibilities Join our urgent care team in Sioux City, providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients with non-life-threatening conditions. As an RN, you’ll play a critical role in patient triage, assessment, treatment, and care coordination, ensuring our community receives efficient and effective care. - Triage and assess patients promptly
- Administer medications and start IVs
- Rooming, vitals and review of appointment
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and rapid tests
- Assist with procedures (wound care, splinting, I&D, etc.)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Educate patients on discharge instructions and medications
- Document care accurately in the EMR
- Support and oversee support staff as needed
- Manage clinical phone triage when applicable
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and compliant clinic environment
Qualifications - RN or LPN License to Practice, State of Iowa.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter.
