If you're passionate about designing, building, and managing systems and infrastructure that impact millions, this is your opportunity! **Description** The ASE Data Protection SRE team seeks an experienced software engineer to design, deploy, maintain, and optimize large-scale foundational storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will combine software engineering and automation expertise with an understanding of x86 computing, networking, Linux, and distributed systems. You'll collaborate closely with development engineers and software engineering leaders in this role to design and implement systems, tools, and services that enable cloud-scale data protection storage solutions. **Minimum Qualifications** + Strong Golang development experience + 5+ years in a Software Engineering role + Experience working in Linux environments + Familiar with Agile development methodologies and SDLC + High-level understanding of Block, File, or Object storage systems + BS degree or higher in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications** + Proficiency in Bash, Java, Python, or Rust + Ability to drive a project from a simple idea to production + Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms + Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, or deploying applications on cloud platforms + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,800 and $237,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
