AOSense, Inc. is delighted to announce an opportunity for an Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship will provide a hands-on experience in accounting and finance, allowing you to contribute to various aspects of our financial operations within the realm of cutting-edge quantum technology. You will work directly under the supervision of our Finance team, gaining valuable insights into accounting practices and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Help prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial data in our accounting system.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Support month-end and quarter-end processes.
• Participate in audits and compliance-related tasks.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team and other teams as needed.

Internship Details:

• This position is a temporary, paid internship.
• Internship duration is typically three months.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferably completed three years towards an undergraduate degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
• U.S. Government contracts require applicants to be U.S. citizens or permanent residents

Prior experience in an accounting role or familiarity with financial spreadsheets is advantageous but not required. AOSense Inc. is committed to providing a supportive learning environment for our interns.

Benefits

• Pay depends on qualifications and experience; $15 to $25 per hour
